At VERVE Online, we always strive for the absolute highest level of service for our customers. We always do everything in our power to ensure that business continues as usual. Because there are different aspects to hosting, there are different types of SLAs for our three main components: Networks, Servers, and Websites. As with all things, the more control that we have over the environment, more our Uptime SLAs are able to cover.
Network Uptime SLA
The Network is designed for business critical usage and is designed to meet the highest uptime SLA standards. Because we are in complete control over the network infrastructure, all servers on our network have a 100% network uptime guarantee. This means that we always guarantee our network to be up and online 100% of the time, except for brief, scheduled upgrades. These core updates usually happen only once per year, usually take less than 5 seconds, and we always notify our customers in advance.
Server Uptime SLA
Our Servers are designed for maximum reliability and uptime which exactly why we use high quality, DELL servers. However, unlike a network, servers are unable to obtain 100% uptime simply because they require constant updating and patching which often requires reboots due to Microsoft Updates. In order to mitigate the impact of Microsoft security updates, our servers are scheduled to apply updates and reboot between 1:00AM-3:00AM in the local time zone of the server.
